The South India Chapter of the World Memon Organisation (WMO) represents a vibrant and historically rich segment of the global Memon community. This chapter primarily comprises families whose ancestors migrated from Kathiawar (now part of Gujarat) to the southern states of India – including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana – decades ago in pursuit of business, stability, and opportunity.
Rooted in the values of faith, enterprise, and service, the South Indian Memon community has established itself as a dynamic force in trade, education, and philanthropy. The WMO South India Chapter carries this legacy forward by fostering unity among Memons in the region and driving initiatives in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and social welfare.
As part of the broader WMO family, the South India Chapter is committed to strengthening intra-community ties, encouraging the next generation to carry the torch of leadership, and supporting the underprivileged both locally and globally.
We encourage all Memons in South India to become active members of WMO and contribute to our shared mission of unity, development, and service to humanity.
