Dubai Meeting Strengthens WMO Collaboration, Highlights North India Chapter’s Impact

A high-level meeting was held in Dubai between WMO President Salman Iqbal, Kamran Ghani (Regional President, WMO Middle East), and Ehsan Gadawala (Trustee, WMO North India Chapter) during Mr. Gadawala’s visit.
The leaders reviewed the significant community impact of the North India Chapter’s initiatives, with special recognition for its exceptional work in the field of Education—a cornerstone of WMO’s global vision.

WMO President Salman Iqbal expressed full support for the Chapter’s activities, commending its leadership for their commitment and dedication. He emphasized that education remains the most powerful driver of socio-economic progress, praising the Chapter’s alignment with WMO’s mission of empowering underprivileged communities through knowledge.

Mr. Ehsan Gadawala and the North India Chapter also praised the outstanding efforts of Mr. Kamran Ghani and the Middle East Chapter, acknowledging their dedication and impactful contributions toward strengthening WMO’s global presence.
