WMO President Salman Iqbal who has led from the front, marshalled his troops and rallied support to collect close to a Billion rupees. The people of Pakistan who have displayed exceptional resilience and fortitude in the face of adversity. The global Memon community who have stood shoulder to shoulder with the people of Pakistan and reciprocated with exceptional generosity.
But the real heroes are the WMO Pakistan Chapter team who have personally travelled to the areas ravaged by the floods to distribute humanitarian aid. And we must acknowledge each and every one of them.
