The past weekend, September 1st, 2024, was a memorable one for the World Memon Organization Africa Chapter as they hosted their 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) alongside their Annual Family Day. The event kicked off with an exciting members and friends padel tournament (coordinated by Muhammed Gani) at the Memon Foundation Centre in Laudium, featuring female and male tournaments.

The day was filled with fun activities for kids, family bonding, and networking.
The AGM commenced at 11:30 am, showcasing the chapter’s activities. Financials were presented by Mr Naeem Hassim (Regional Treasurer) and 2023 overview, projects and spending was presented by Mr Ahmed Gani (Regional President) and Mr Aslam Kalla (Regional Secretary) including highlights from the Ladies Wing (Mrs Halima Abdoola & Mrs AK Ismail) and Youth Wing.(Ms Raeesa Joosab & Ms Yasmin Gani)
The program featured presentations and addresses by esteemed guests such as; Mr. Haroon Kalla, Mr. Shiraz Gany, and Mr. Yunus Suleman.
Concluding the programme with a heartfelt certificate of appreciation ceremony honoring dedicated members and supporting sister organizations.
